Client privacy is an important issue at Peter Newmann Investment Club. As such, we respect your privacy and have taken steps to ensure any information you share with us is kept private and confidential. Yet, we all have a different sense of what privacy means and how it should be protected against perceived invasion.
Client information refers to data that identifies or relates to a client, whether the client is an individual or a company. To ensure the commitment to client privacy is upheld, we have developed a Privacy Policy, which governs the behavior of employees and suppliers with regard to the accuracy, confidentiality and security of client information.
We also endorse and observe the privacy guidelines issued by the Swiss Government as it pertains to the Swiss Standard for Electronic Transactions.

General Privacy Policy
As members of the Peter Newmann Investment Club is committed to protecting the information that our valued customers share with us. As part of this commitment we would like to share with you our guidelines for the collection and protection of your information.
These guidelines are reviewed and amended as and when necessary to ensure the continued accuracy and protection of our customers' information. These guidelines cover all physical as well as all virtual points of contact where customer information collection takes place.
These guidelines cover all existing Peter Newmann Investment Companies and any other companies which may join the group as a result of corporate merger or acquisition.
This policy addresses the following security issues:
- Collection of personal information
- Sharing of information
- Security procedures
- How to correct any inaccuracies in the information

What information is collected?
The information will be at a minimum what is called BASIC INFORMATION; Name, Address, Telephone Number(s), Age, Gender, E-mail addresses. Depending on the product or service being purchased.
What organization is collecting the information?
All companies within PN Investment Club will collect customer information as required to provide the product or service that is being requested by the customer.
We may also engage an independent organization to collect generic demographic information about its customer base. Information gathered in this process is generic and cannot relate to an individual customer.
How is the information used?
The information is used to create an accurate view of each individual customer. In many cases the information we collect helps us to customize a product or service to meet our customers' individual needs.
Customer information is also retained for historical and legal reasons.
Sharing of Information
Customer information is shared ONLY within the Peter Newmann Investment Club. No PN Investment Club will sell or trade customer information with any organization outside the PN Investment Club.
Customer E-mail information will not be sold or given to any organization outside PN Investment Club without the approval of any affected individual.
What choices are available to you regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?
As stated in this policy, customer information is private and confidential and only shared within the business units of PN Investment Club.
Security Procedures
All databases containing PN Investment Club customer information are secured with encrypted passwords and only authorized personnel are given access. This access is strictly for conducting the day-to-day operation of the business.
All databases run on redundant systems with battery backup in case of power failure. Backups are performed on a regular basis and backup media are stored off-site.
All databases run on systems that are protected by industry standard security and firewall technology. All security systems are monitored and logs are checked on a regular basis.
An overview of security procedures is available to any existing customer on a request basis.
How to correct any inaccuracies in your information
Change of information forms are available in the PN Investment Club Centre. You will be contacted by customer service to verify these changes before they are put into effect.
In the case of a change of information requiring photo identification, the customer will be required to come to the offices of the company in question and present the necessary identification.
Online Privacy
You are not required to submit any personal information for the general use of our web site. When you visit us we will automatically collect some basic information. Including but not limited to the following:
- Your ISP assigned IP address: This gives us an idea where you are visiting us from.
- The areas of our Web site you visit and how long you stayed for.
- The type of Internet browser you are using.
This basic information will allow us to further customize our site to give you a better interactive experience when you visit us. This information will also help us to focus our marketing and product development efforts and allow us to continue to produce valuable products and services.
Certain areas of our Web site may request additional information from you in order for us to serve you better. For example; name, address, E-mail address and phone number may be requested in order for us to process a request and return the answer to you. This information is protected according to the general privacy policy.
